## FAQs

##### Why would I hire a day-of doula?

Times can be unpredictable! A spouse/support person who suddenly falls sick or is unexpectedly out of town. An epidural that doesn't work. Surprising nerves. You just learned what a doula is and don't want to miss out on the extra support! 

##### How does day-of doula work?

Great question! If you are in labor or headed for an induction, call (469) 630-1055 and I can let you know if I am available for delivery support. If I am available, we will have a quick video call to make sure we are a good match (beneficial for doula and client!) and to get a quick idea of how I can best support you in labor. Assuming we hit it off, I'll send over my contract, and upon receiving signed contract and payment, I'll head your way within 2 hours. In the mean time, I will provide intermittent phone support until I can be with you in person. 

##### What kind of payment do you accept?

For your security and mine, I only accept Zelle transfers. 

##### What if you're not available?

In the event I am unable to provide support for you, I can email you a sample birth plan, a comfort measures guide, and a packing list.
